The Science of Virtues

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The John Templeton Foundation approached the University of Chicago in order to explore how the study of virtues fits into academic discourse and resources.  Arete worked with Jean Bethke Elshtain to assemble a team of faculty members at the University of Chicago to help determine how rigorous scientific methodologies can be applied to the study of virtues.

WHAT WE DID FOR THEM:

• Convene interdisciplinary partnerships across the University
• Develop programs and initiatives
• Help funders achieve their funding visions
