MBL CELEBRATION OF DISCOVERY

There is no other place in the world like the Marine Biological Laboratory. An environment of discovery without equal, the MBL is a nexus where scientists meet—often for the first time—and begin work that has a global reach.

Join us for the MBL Celebration of Discovery, the UChicago - MBL retreat will be held this summer in Woods Hole from June 10- 12.

Activities will include a poster session, breakout groups, and special interest roundtables in topics such as the utility of marine organisms for basic biomedical research, unique approaches to understanding microbiomes in human and ecosystem health, and the complexity of regenerative biology.

More information including the retreat schedule, registration, and list of speakers can be found at the retreat website

UChicago faculty and one lab member (either graduate student or postdoctoral scholar) are eligible for travel grants. Click here and complete the online application.
